With the lack of regulation in the cosmetic industry, we should be concerned of what some cosmetic companies use as ingredients such as antifreeze, leads or suspected carcinogens.  If you’re like me and expect what you put on your skin is safe, then mineral makeup and organic skin care can give you peace of mind as well as all the glamour you need.  One such company to consider is Eve Organics Beauty that I recently tested for this review and giveaway.

Immediately upon opening my package, I was impressed at the high standard Eve Organics Beauty takes to insure their products safety with sealed, wrapped containers from the two eye shadows, bronzer, to the brush that I was sent.   This extra measure makes me as the consumer feel more cared for not just for my money, but for my health.

The Eve Organics Beauty ultra-fine loose mineral bronzing powder provided me with just enough of a sun-kissed glow without any preservatives, talc, and bismuth oxychloride, a pore clogging ingredient, which some mineral cosmetic lines use to cut costs.  Using just a small amount of the Beautiful Shimmer All Over Color, I gained a healthy natural radiance with just a few sweeps of my brush.

I picked two of their shimmer eyes shadows to try, Taupe and Champagne.  Both of these shades were neutral enough to work for anyone.  Once I dipped my brush into the Taupe, I loved how the mauve-gray lit up my dark brown eyes with intensity and went on like silk.  The Champagne, a lively beige-brown over my lid made my eyes pop with an innocent, but sexy look.

Besides great mineral makeup products, you also need quality brushes made in the United States for the best application of those cosmetics.  I requested the Eve Organics large all over #60 eye shadow brush.   This brush is fantastic, the perfect thickness and with special synthetic hairs that stay put and are made not to harbor bacteria!  How many times have you had brushes that shed regardless of price?  You won’t have that problem.  What’s even better is how affordable their brushes run with this particular one at $7.95!
