How many times have you pulled one dangling thread from your hemline to have the entire hem fall down? This frustrating and embarrassing ordeal can be a thing of the past with what I am about to share with you with this simple trick.
I found a great way to keep your hemline protected from one thread unraveling is just by changing your hemming technique.
The next time you’re working on a hem, about every couple of inches, knot the thread before proceeding to work. This will strengthen the stitching much better and safeguard the integrity of your hemline. And if anything breaks, you will be saved the hassle of losing your entire hem since only a small section at a time would be affected.
This is one tip that I’m nuts about–and I hope you will be too!
