When I was growing up, I had a rounder face until age finally did me a favor for once by helping the cause and narrowing it into more of an oval shape. Those with a fuller face structure like I had often found it hard slimming the width down. However, I eventually discovered there are some beauty secrets that can help slim your face through hair and makeup that I thought could help.
Of course, you can suck in your cheeks and find cheekbones to dust with a darker contouring shade of a blush or bonzer before applying with a lighter shade at the top of those bones to create more of a chiseled structure.
Another wonderful way is to get your highlighter and dust your cheekbones, forehead, and the bridge of your nose before you put on your foundation. By doing so, you will draw eyes to a better defined bone structure from the way light will fall on bones and the contours of your face.
How you style your hair also can play a part in to make your face looking thinner or fatter depending on the cut. Adding some layers, some texture or waves can help slim the width of a full face better than a blunt cut. The different angles can help give the face more of the needed dimension than the straightness of a blunt cut.
Something else that you may want to look into is how much salt do you use? You could be adding too much salt to your food or just eating too many salty snacks like potato chips, pretzels, especially in the evenings that could be causing your face to puff from water retention. This facial bloating could be worse for those that are especially sensitive to sodium. You might want to try cutting down on the sodium and drinking more water, which may help to slim your face.
I do hope you try these beauty secrets that can help slim your face because all you have to lose is a bit more face!
