Southern Sweet Potato Casserole
This Southern Sweet Potato Casserole is a family favorite.

Since fresh yams or sweet potatoes are so plentiful at this time of year, I thought you might enjoy another wonderful way to prepare them as a part of your Thanksgiving dinner.  This particular recipe for my Southern Sweet Potato Casserole that I want to share is another family favorite for a delicious sweet potato casserole that uses mashed yams or sweet potatoes topped with a brown sugar-pecan mixture for a special holiday treat.

This tempting dish comes to you from South Carolina and courtesy of the Southern branch of our family.  I hope you want to try it this year because it is so good!

Another delicious way to cook with yams is my Holiday Yam Squares, which go over great with your guests.
