| Melvita’s Eye Makeup Remover |
Melvita, the French beauty brand, makes a
lot of breakthrough organic products that now have become staples in my own
beauty routine once I discovered them. Another great find is their
extremely gentle Eye Make-Up Remover for the remarkable things it
can do for your eyes.
All make-up removers can take off eye
makeup. Some can handle waterproof mascara like this one does easily, but
then often the benefit stops there. On the other hand, Melvita’s Eye
Make-Up Remover does so much more. Active ingredients like cornflower
water, camomile, and lotus, help treat that delicate eye area while olive
squalane and aloe vera cleanse and moisturize.
This dual-phase lotion melted my eye makeup
without loading up a ton of cotton balls with product. With a few swipes,
I had everything off even the waterproof liner and mascara without leaving a
greasy film behind. Your skin does feel cleaner even though you don’t need to rinse with water.
The formula
also was soothing and a scent free variety, which was wonderful for my
allergy-prone eyes. At the same time, my skin felt soft and moisturized.
This remover also claims to reduce swelling of
the eye contour. However, I did not have puffy eyes lately to test that
since I started a new antihistamine.
