Have you tried any of the new Rimmel The Only 1 Lipstick line yet? I had a chance to finally get my hands on six from the dozen that makes up this line thanks to what PR sent along. Now that I did, I can see why the company came up with this unique name because it does the combined job of a few different lip products in one from acting like a stain, lip balm and moisturizing lipstick.
These lipsticks come in a slim black tube. You’ll immediately notice how easily they glide on. The feel is creamy and moisturizing once that bullet comes in contact with your lips and yet it is weightless. The color payoff is sensational because these babies are very pigmented without needing to keep applying to benefit. You really can get enough gorgeous color from your initial application, but swiping again and again can result in some serious bold color.
As to the colors, 600 Peachy Beachy is a pink-orange-coral, 810 One of a Kind is a pinkish red-plum, 200 It’s a Keeper is a rosy-pink, 300 Listen Up is a brighter fuchsia pink, 700 Naughty Nude is pink-nude with plum, and 620 Call Me Crazy is a vivid orange-red. I swatched all six shades for you below.
The wonderful initial creaminess, however, did lessen after about an hour or two of wear. Nonetheless, my lips had enough satisfying moisture to keep them feeling comfortable.

This lipstick stays put for hours of wear. You can drink or eat, but you may want to reapply afterwards unless you want to keep wearing it more as a stain.
In fact, you will need to use an oil-based makeup remover to take off every last trace of this. I tried using some foaming makeup remover that you rinse off with water after I did my swatches and this lipstick refused to budge. The oil-based makeup remover was the only way I could get my arm clean.
For a drugstore lipstick, I think this new Rimmel The Only 1 was a real find for color, length of wear, price, and making lips feel comfortable for as long as it. Check it out.
