Rimmel fans of the Only 1 Lipstick line will be pleased that the company has recently released a new matte finish version. The Only 1 Matte Lipsticks offer just as much fantastic pigment power only in 10 velvety shades that you’ll want to take a look at.
|Going from left to right is 200, 810, 800, 610, 600, 110, 120, 750, 500, and ending with 700 near my wrist.|
The color range covers the spectrum from pale, bright, dark to several very natural takes on nudes. The line includes 700 Trendsetter (medium peach-nude), 500 Take the Stage (red-pink), 750 Look Who’s Talking (burgundy-brown), 120 Call the Shots (warm tulip-pink), 110 Leader of the Pink (cool medium pink), 600 Keep It Coral (peach-orange), 610 High Flyer (mauve-pink), 800 Run the Show (bright purple), 810 The Matte Factor (plum), and 200 Salute (pink-brown).
Unlike the creamier texture of the original line, these matte lipsticks are slightly drier but spread very well on the lips. They also share the same amount of fruity-floral fragrance, if strong scents bother you.
Over the course of wear, you may want to apply more or a lip balm since the lipstick does sink into the lips in time and loses a bit more moisture. After all, this feeling is hardly uncommon with a matte formula. The color, however, remains on your lips like a stain.
Whatever your tastes may be, it won’t be hard to find a great shade. My favorite color that would probably work well for anyone is 610 High Flyer, which seems to light up my face. Have you tried any of these new lipsticks yet? If not, I think that you might want to check this new Rimmel the Only 1 Matte Lipstick line out!
