Spring 2017 Rimmel brought three new 12-pan Magnif’eyes Shadow Palettes to the United States to entice us with.  The shades are nude-based from more natural takes with gold tones, rose shades to a smoky palette with shimmering and matte colors.

Keep Calm and Wear Gold 001 is a mix of browns, beige and gold.  London Nudes Calling 002 is more of what you expect from a lovely nude palette with different degrees of brown, beige and peach to rose spin offs of that color scheme.  The last choice is 003 Grunge Glamour featuring mostly darker smoky shades.

Most of the shades have wonderful color payoff and blend well.  A few of the shimmery shades have a bit more glitter than I like, but overall the shimmer shades are gorgeous. For the most part, the matte shades are better than you might expect with the exception of the palest ones.

Overall though, for drugstore eye shadow palettes, the Rimmel Magnif’eyes Shadow Palettes are a decent value for nude sets that can still give you nice results over high end options.  My advice is to check these palettes out!
