Nothing is more convenient than reaching for a primed facial cleansing cloth to wipe away makeup. However, you should be aware that there is a difference between those marked “face cleansing cloths” and others labeled “makeup remover cloths.”
While both of those facial wipeshs will remove grime and makeup, only “makeup remover cloths” can more gently and thoroughly dissolve all traces of eye makeup, even the stubborn waterproof variety those “face cleansing cloths” may leave behind due to the presence of oiler ingredients in the formula.
Wipes are so convenient for quick, no-fuss makeup removal. Sometimes, though they can lose some of their initial moistness over time. However, there is a way that you can keep makeup wipes as well lubricated as when you first opened that package with this little tip that will help you get more cleaning power out of them from what I’m about to share.
What I do is now is to store my container of makeup wipes upside down instead of up the normal way. This same trick goes for facial wipes as well. I found by doing so, the next wipe that I pull out is just as moist as the first.
You probably are going to laugh, but you got to try this if you want to get more cleaning power from your makeup wipes because you will!
