For example, if you overexerted yourself through exercise, walking or shopping too much and feel exhausted with sore muscles, then peppermint or wintergreen essential oil is a remarkable addition to this formula for relief.
For those bad problematic days in general that leave you stressed, you can use lavender essential oil or ones like patchouli, orange, rose to ylang ylang for the calming benefits each can provide.
Anyone with allergies or related sinus congestion also would like using eucalyptus essential oil for how it opens the nasal passages when adding this particular one to this DIY Healthy Body Oil recipe.
Skin Benefits From Antioxidants, Emollients, Anti-Aging, and Healing in This DIY Healthy Body Oil
The carrier oils I find the most helpful are using apricot kernel oil for one with all its vitamin A and E for anti-aging assistance from those antioxidants in firming and toning the skin. This lightweight oil also has anti-inflammatory properties that calm any skin irritation. At the same time, it is a non-greasy emollient due to its essential fatty acids that absorbs quickly while moisturizing beautifully without that greasy feel.
I also use sweet almond oil. This is a bit of a heavier and a richer oil with the highest percentage of monounsaturated fatty acids than any others along with antioxidants and proteins. It for reaching through the deepest levels of the skin to reverse and heal damage.
Avocado oil is another excellent ingredient that your skin will thrive on. This oil is a storehouse of antioxidants, essential omega-3 fatty acids, minerals, and vitamins to moisturize and brighten, but also to heal skin wounds to acne.
The final ingredient in my DIY Healthy Body Oil recipe is grapeseed oil that is a wonder oil in itself being anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and an antioxidant.

DIY Healthy Body Oil
½ cup apricot kernel oil
1/8 cup of sweet almond oil
1/4 cup of avocado oil
1/4 cup grapeseed oil
½ teaspoon essential oil (certified organic is the purest)
All that is needed is mixing all the ingredients before pouring into a clean, capped bottle.
