Glossybox October 2018 Glossy Retreat Review

Glossybox October 2108 Retreat
The anticipation of what each month’s beauty box may bring is half the fun of Glossybox.

The colder the temperatures drop, the more that I lavish my skin and hair to make up for the ill effects of the harsher weather. When my Glossybox October 2018 arrived with my new month’s luxury beauty assortment, I was excited with the contents because it was just what I needed for this time of year.

Glossybox has a knack of always knowing how to tune into what beauty lovers could use and covet most when it comes to quality makeup, skin, hair care, hair accessories, nail products, fragrances, scented candles, and tools in each of the boxes, if you ask me with the five-high end products you can expect to receive from this beauty subscription box. For $21.00 a month and free United States shipping, you get some sensational beauty products that come to an exceptional value once you tally them up.

Let me clarify how great this beauty subscription is by showing you exactly what I found in my particular Glossybox October 2018 with an additional item this month, making it another six item box! Before I get too carried away, I do want to remind you that there are several variations of each month’s box. One or two items may be different, but the value is always about the same box.

The Tocca Montauk Candle was in the Salt Air & Cucumber fragrance, which I highly recommend for stealing away to your bathroom for a soothing soak. Burning this candle is such a pleasant way to relax as that fresh ocean side scent fills the air to drift toward you.

The Nails Inc. Victory Place Nail Polish is a beautiful classic pearly pink that I didn’t try yet, but plan too very soon. I really loved the shade for how it elongates nails with such grace.

I received the Royal Apothic Lip Scrub in the delicious Fig flavor. I liked the way this product with natural sugars cleaned up fine flaking of lips for ultimate smoothness. I will be using this a lot this season with how harsh winter can be on my poor lips.

Georgette Klinger Rose Clarifying toner is an alcohol-free botanical toner that uses witch hazel, antioxidants, aloe vera, rose, lavender, and jasmine flower for a gentler deep clean, especially for combination skin. I don’t use toners that often with my dry skin, but when I do then it is alcohol-free ones for me that I save when wearing heavier makeup formulations. Use coupon code GLOSSY20 at the Georgette Klinger website and get 20% off your order, which always helps.

I was a happy camper when I spotted the Pai-Shau Supreme Revitalizing Mask. This time of year, I always am pampering my hair more with hair conditioning treatments whether commercial products or DIY beauty recipes to coax it to better health. This mask has five different tea blends to repair, exfoliate, nourish, and strengthen the hair, which sounds delightful to me.

The Invisibobble Sprunchie is dusty pink color of a velvety material that always comes in handy for pulling the hair to avoid excess rough tugging and losing hairs in the process. My hair isn’t that long to make use of it as a pretty hair accessory, but it is kinder on the strands than using a rubber band or barrette while washing your face for those of us with shorter styles.

If there is one thing I know is that Glossybox always has such a sharp eye with each box their beauty experts curate. If you haven’t gotten around to trying them out, I say what is holding you back, especially now with the Glossybox All I Want Advent Calender that you can save $10 on its $99 price when you subscribe? Trust me, this huge 25-product box is one of the VERY BEST Christmas beauty boxes I have encountered with 25 awesome full and deluxe sample products worth more than $325! Wait until I show this one because it is beyond incredible and I will be sharing that review with you soon. Now what are you waiting for? Check this beauty subscription box out because it is a hassle-free way to get your beauty fix!

I remember using Georgette Klinger in the 80’s. I loved her products!
