Sleep is something we always don’t get enough of. Yet, it can have everything to do with our health, moods to appearance. For this reason, it is just as important to consider our habits and bedrooms. To induce chances of more restful sleep, choosing the finest affordable luxury sheets can help do more for overall comfort with their soft, caressing touch against the skin than rougher, lower quality bedding to make it easier to drift off. Recently, I was approached by California Design Den about reviewing their sheets. This is exactly why I am happy to introduce California Design Den and share my experience on these affordable luxury sheets.
Why California Design Den Is the Answer to Affordable Luxury Sheets
We automatically assume a higher thread count of Egyptian cotton such as 800 to 1,000 is the only way to experience that lustrous softness of expensive sheets. Another sign of luxury sheets is also ones that use long fibers to add to that equation to help with comfort, but also durability for longer wear. However, technology has come a long way to spin the natural cotton fibers to imitate that body pampering feeling even though sheets can have a lower thread count such as the affordable luxury sheets California Design Den produces with the sateen weave of the 400-thread-count long staple pure cotton queen set I was sent in their Everyday Basics Rosa printed pattern.

The set of eco-friendly affordable luxury sheets comes in a zippered plastic case and includes four pieces of the flat sheet, a fitted sheet with deep pockets and two standard pillow cases with hemmed detailing to reinforce stitching. As I pulled them out of the bag to launder them, I noticed that extra softness immediately and wondered how that feel would hold up after washing and drying.
If you are a stickler about any wrinkles sheets may have once they leave the dryer, I advise not leaving them in too long. These affordable luxury sheets can wrinkle a bit and force you to take out your iron. However, I am not a perfectionist or one searching for extra work for how a freshly made bed may look as some of my friends.
When I was ready to put them on the bed, I appreciated how well that full elastic band fit on the mattress. A fitted sheet without enough stretch to it or depth is so irritating when trying to make a bed or worse if you roll around in bed. Furthermore, they still felt so incredibly smooth to the touch due to that sateen weave, which I hope is an indicator of how they will remain after future trips to the laundry room for softness and how the color will hold up.
After I made my bed, I thought the Antique Rose light blue-printed pattern was so pretty with my blue carpeting with how the colors accented the bedroom to mesh with my decor.
Sleeping on them made for a cozy night of sleeping. I look forward to many more nights using this beautiful sheet set. If you’re in the market for bedding and affordable luxury sheets, I suggest visiting the California Design Den website or their Amazon storefront. Once you try and compare to your old sheets, I think that you will be glad that you took my advice.
Nice comfortable sheets always make it easier to fall asleep . I also used to think a higher thread count meant they were a higher quality . I love that these are eco friendly.
I have been hearing a lot of nice things about these lately! I love all the colors and prints you can choose from.
I can remember for years my aunt used to get my mom the highest tread count sheets for her birthday. And she hated them because they were so wrinkled when they came out of the dryer. I like everything about these sheets and as for the wrinkles once they are on the bed the smooth right out.
Hubby is the one here that has sleep problems. Myself, I can usually fall asleep easily . I love the sheets and am always looking for nice ones that feel good. These sound great.
These look nice and comfy
