Lexli Dry Skin Solutions Review + ($212) Giveaway–Ends 03/06/2019

Lexli Dry Skin Solutions
Lexli Skin Care takes a different and gentle approach for complexion beauty demonstrated by their Lexli dry skin solutions.

Lexli Skin Care is distinguished for their use of pharmaceutical-grade aloe vera for skin rejuvenation and healing founded by a board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Ahmed Abdullah. Appreciating the value of the ancient medicinal powers derived from aloe, the Lexli dry skin solutions and line he developed differed from other skin care brands that used water as a base by substituting aloe due to its nearly immediate absorption of the plant’s 200 active compounds to soothe and rebuild collagen and skin tissue. When Lexli Skin Care reached out, I thought their aloe vera-based skin care products Kit for Dry Skin and Day Moisturizer would be a perfect place to start with my dry skin for this review and giveaway.

**Disclaimer: This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment. Opinions are solely mine. All links are “no-follow” links.**

I have been using the Lexli Skin Care Kit for Dry Skin ($169.99) that consists of Cleansing Lotion, Tone & Balance Facial Toner, AloeGlyC® Glycolic Acid Exfoliator, Moisture Intensifier Serum, and Night Moisturizer along with the Day Moisturizer with SPF 15 for Normal to Dry Skin ($41.99) to gain a total experience of this system.

The Lexli Cleansing Lotion is a water-rinsing aloe-based formula to wash away grime and makeup. It is dispensed through a pump and doesn’t foam as much as some others. However, I found it gentle and left the skin feeling soft and hydrated instead of drying it out and tight.

I don’t always use a toner unless they are alcohol-free on my dry skin. This Lexli Tone and Balance Facial Toner is not the type that you dab on your cotton ball. This is a soothing aloe-based spray that provides moisturizing humectants and helps restore the skin’s natural pH while being the final step to deeper clean. I liked how refreshed my complexion felt. In fact, I even used this toner as a makeup setting spray and later in the day to mist and invigorate my skin.

Unlike the other Lexli dry skin solutions that I used daily, the AloeGlyC is the line’s exfoliant. This aloe-based product has glycolic acid, vitamins C, A, D, E, and green tea just to mention a few ingredients. What is different about this mint-green cream exfoliant with a sprinkling of vitamin C beads is that it features a pH similar to a chemical peel and is meant to be used daily after cleansing.

My belief is once or twice a week is sufficient for using exfoliation to avoid overly stimulating the skin, but I wanted to put this product to the test. Therefore, I risked it because after my first application of slightly less than a nickel-size amount, it was only mild tingling instead being harsh as some others, which surprised me since I can tend to have sensitive skin. Due to that specialized, safer pH formulation, my skin wasn’t in the least bothered, a good sign to keep using as directed.

You don’t wash the AloeGlyC off, but keep it on. In fact, you need to wait about 15 minutes before applying your moisturizer to best prepare the surface for best absorption of those active anti-aging ingredients.

At this time of year, my complexion is even drier. As a result, I made it a point to first apply a pearl-size drop of the Moisture Intensifier Serum, which was plenty enough of this lightweight formula to do my face. Besides aloe, this serum has allantoin, panthenol, arnica and glycosaminoglycans for keeping skin satisfied. My face loved its fast absorption and felt soft and comfortable.

For daytime, I followed with the Day Moisturizer with SPF 15 as a part of the Lexli dry skin solutions on days I was going out. For keeping the product more sanitary, it has a pump to dispense the aloe-based facial lotion with vitamin E, jojoba oil among other ingredients such as zinc oxide to protect against the sun. I liked how the formula smoothed and lent a velvet like touch to my skin to make a great base for makeup while guarding my face from aging UV rays.

Nights and days indoors, I switched my choice following the Moisture Intensifier Serum among the Lexli dry skin solutions to their Night Moisturizer. With its emollients and humectants delivered in a luxurious, slight mint scented aloe-based cream, this formula is sympathetic to skin that easily reacts to products with its mildness. This is not greasy feeling in the least and used in conjunction with the serum contributed better moisture for dry skin than when sampling it once alone.

My Overall Impression of Lexli Dry Skin Solutions

For nearly a month now I have used these Lexli dry skin solutions and have noticed more brightness to my skin and improvement to its overall tone. As I mentioned before, I do have a nice complexion, but this system helped tweak and fade tiny imperfections further. How can I not be but impressed?

Have you ever tried Lexli Skin Care or any of the Lexli dry skin solutions yet? My feeling is to check their website and products out because they can possibly do as much good for your own complexion as they did mine.

Thanks for Lexli Skin Care, one lucky Beauty Cooks Kisses reader in the United States will win the Lexli Skin Care Kit for Dry Skin ($170) and the Day Moisturizer with SPF 15 ($42) for a $212 total giveaway value!

I did not know that toner beside removing the last of your makeup etc was also good for hydration during the day. I keep a bottle hydrating spray on my desk that I use at least 6 times a day. Now I know I can just use toner and not buy a hydrating spray, saves me money

However, we advise talking with your physician, as some medical professionals prefer their patients do not use products with salicylic acid (found in our acne products) or glycolic acid (found in AloeGlyC and Day Moisturizer with SPF 30) when pregnant.
