My Orange Quick Bread recipe is a winner if you ask my family.

If you are longing for something sweet and delicious from your oven but can’t get motivated because of time or just the extra work involved, then I have the perfect recipe for you. My Orange Quick Bread recipe is so shockingly simple that it will surprise you and needs only a fork and minimal stirring before pouring into your loaf pan.

Cooking and baking shouldn’t need to make a bigger dent in your food budget just because you want to make something new like my orange quick bread recipe. I stick with basic ingredients that are commonly available to keep cost down. Why run to a specialty store to shop for expensive or exotic ingredients when you can produce comparable results? If you’re of the same mindset, then I promise you’re going to love my orange quick bread recipe as well as my other recipes because that’s important to me.

My orange quick bread recipe has more of a pound cake like texture with a finer crumb from a batter infused with orange juice and zest from one orange, nutmeg and a generous measure of vanilla to inch out an amazing flavor. For having only two tablespoons of canola oil, this bread is also tender and stays moist. It also slices easily and as thin as desired.

Follow the directions as I describe for no-fail results. Remember that you don’t want to overwork this batter. You just want to incorporate and gently stir the ingredients to combine.

This bread looks so good I love it when the top looks like this picture. Have never had orange bread before. I usually buy my bread already sliced and then I place them in ziplock freezer bags. I might just get brave and try to make this because It makes me hunger.
