If you are thinking about signing up for a beauty box subscription, you really need to give Glossybox a try and it can simplify how you shop for beauty. For $21 a month and free USA shipping, their beauty experts seem to curate great picks of those five full and deluxe sample sizes from top brands for makeup, hair, skin and nail products, fragrances, and tools that always thrill me to find each month. What makes it even better is the value of what arrives always far exceeds that monthly cost such as the beauty assortment that made up Glossybox April 2019.

Each month Glossybox does produce a few variations of the same box. Though a product or two may differ, the value of the substituted item is always about the same or higher so keep that in mind. Now let me show you what Glossybox April 2019 brought me.

It was wonderful to find a Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Cream Shadow Stick in this new box. The color I found was 02 Mist Brouillard, which is more of a gleaming champagne highlight shade. I liked how smoothly it applied and lit up the area without subjecting me to any questionable chemicals.

John Masters Lavender & Rosemary Shampoo and Conditioner are sulfate-free, creamy and have a herbal aroma that smells amazing. My hair was softer and shined with added gloss as a result.

Bybi Plumper Natural Lip Balm has a little biting nip to it from peppermint and chili. The tingling burn wasn’t all that painful, but you could feel lips slightly swell. It also moisturized lips without feeling sticky, but more creamy.

The Derma-E Essential Overnight Peel has 5-percent alpha hydroxy acids and sounds like something I would love. I haven’t used this product yet because I just gave myself a peel the other day so this will have to wait until next time.

The Kieh’s Glow Formula Skin Hydrator has somewhat of an orange cast to it when you first give it a squeeze. However, this lightens up considerably when you apply to give a luminous glow to the skin that I adored.

Some nice products in the box. I dropped glossybox so I could try another brand subscription.
