Japan Okashi Snack Box Review +($117) Giveaway–Ends 04/23/2019

Japan Okashi Snack Box displayed

You can a lot of tasty munchies in this big green Japan Okashi Snack Box!

How many of us are ever going to have a chance to visit Japan? However, the tastes and beauty of that culture can come to you easily enough through the Japan Okashi Snack Box that I was sent to sample for this review and giveaway. Let me tell you why this treat and snack subscription box stands out and would make the perfect Mother’s Day gift for those debating on what to buy dear mom.

**Disclaimer: This post has been compensated. Opinions are solely mine. All links are “no-follow” links.**

What is so unique about the Japan Okashi Snack Box is a big wonderful assortment of candy and snacks that also includes a cute bonus gift that makes you smile. Some Japanese candy boxes or snack boxes will give you about eight to 10 treats on average, but this box gives you a whooping 15-20 pieces on average plus a bonus gift to reflect their culture. My green box had a sticky memo pad featuring Japan’s most popular breed of dog, the Shiba-Inu, which is adorable. Besides that bonus gift, I counted 21 treats in all!

Shiba-Inu Japanese dog breed for Japan Okashi Snack Box

This is the Shiba-Inu, the most popular breed of dog in Japan. It is also the cute poster boy for the sticky memo pad that came as a bonus gift in my box.

Though you probably won’t be able to translate the wrappers or packaging, you also get descriptive information with accompanying photos of each product to explain the ingredients. This helps you understand what you’re about to eat as well as clue you in about any possible allergy problems.

Unlike our typical American snack foods, I tasted something I never ate before that is so delicious with their Baby Star Ramen. This is salty, thin little sticks flavored with soy sauce and chicken that is hard to describe, but I wish they sold this here. How the Japanese handle corn is equally yummy such as their Morokoshiwa-Taro, Poteto-Furai, Kyabetsu-Taro, are just some that I loved as well. Other snacks that I doubt you ever tasted are the Kakinotane with chili peppers, peanuts, soy, rice, wheat, chicken and katsuobushi was so good too.

Don’t you wish that you could gobble them up?

As for some of the candy type of snacks, I got a charge out of seeing a Kit-Kat bar in the Japanese language. I got other varieties of chocolates and bars to gummy candies of different fruity flavors. To be honest, I got so much in my box that I am still enjoying it with plenty more of these treats left to savor.

The cost of subscribing is $39 if you buy the Japan Okashi Snack Box by the month. This includes FREE shipping, regardless of where in the world that you live. The cost goes down to $37 a month with FREE worldwide shipping, if you commit to a three-month subscription.  If you can’t eat all of these goodies as soon as you thought, you can pause or cancel your subscription.

Furthermore, this food snack box gets five stars for packaging. This company bubble wraps the outside to ideally protect the inner box and nothing ever crumbled as it traveled across the globe to me. I had one small snack that broke in half, but never crumbled. Everything else was perfection.

Another interesting reason to order the Japan Okashi Snack Box for Mother’s Day or just any occasion is that she can share with the grandchildren or children just a bit more about Japan to peak their curiosity on this fascinating country and what it has to offer through the tastes and what you discover.

I am very impressed with the Japan Okashi Snack Box and highly recommend getting a hold of this particular box because it is a real treat that will please the palate for you and the family or dear mom as well.
