Glossybox Summer Oasis July 2019 Review

 

Summer is prime time for relaxing and more carefree beauty. With that thought in mind, the newest Glossybox Summer Oasis that just arrived for July 2019 has just what you need to pamper and indulge your beauty whether you are vacation bound or intending to chill out during your time off at home with the five full and deluxe-size samples of luxury makeup, skin and nail care that I was delighted to discover in my latest box.

If you still haven’t gotten around to subscribing to this beauty box subscription, let me tell how Glossybox works. The cost is $21 a month with free USA shipping. Each box always has a far higher value. Furthermore, the five full and sample sizes of makeup, skin and hair care, nail products, fragrances to tools are ones that you’ll probably love if you’re anything like me.

I can be impatient with my allergies when it comes to the horrible smell of wet polish while waiting for it to dry, especially when it is hot and humid. However, the Leighton Denny Miracle Mist really helped make quick work of waiting for nail polish to dry due to its silicones. This spray dries your wet nails in about two minutes and conditions with vitamin E. For some reason, it does mute the shine a bit. But it can save you from putting up with that nasty smell longer than you have too, which works for me.

 

 

The Orzy Beauty Lipstick in Lido is a gorgeous pink-brown nude that was perfect for my coloring. In fact, I believe this shade could compliment most complexions beautifully with the richness of color it provides. The product glides on lips and has a lightweight, but wonderful moisturizing type of a feel. It stayed on my lips since early morning until lunch where I later reapplied to patch up what faded after eating.

 

 

The Luscious Cosmetics Camera Powder is a white translucent powder to dust over your finished makeup. It possesses an extra finely milled texture that is very silky to the touch and helped set my makeup for prolonged freshness without any shiny T-zone problem.  Usually my skin is dry except for summer when the T-zone area gives me trouble.

I love Jurlique skin care and use quite a few. The Rosewater Balancing Mist wakes up the complexion with extra hydration and its botanicals to help skin bloom with dewy freshness. On hot summer days, I always keep a bottle on hand to mist my face with over the course of the day. You won’t believe how much just a blast of rose water revives the skin.

The Afterspa Amazing Makeup Remover is a makeup remover cloth. According to the directions, you just need to wet this velvet-feeling cloth to wipe away your makeup. I was not that impressed with this one because it didn’t clean everything away throughly. I had some foundation left in spots and my waterproof mascara wasn’t going anywhere until I used my special oil-based eye makeup remover.
