JoahBox Review June 2019

JoahBox June 2019 brighter
You can’t find such groundbreaking Korean beauty products like what JoahBox sends locally.

Korean beauty has a lot of exciting innovation when it comes to skin care and makeup. Once you try the beautiful difference their products can make, you can become hooked and crave them. An easy way to get your monthly K-beauty fix is through JoahBox that I was sent for this review.

If you’re unfamiliar with JoahBox, then I’ll fill you in how it works. Each month you receive about five to seven full size beauty products with a typical value of between $60 and $100. Each box is hand-picked based on your individual skin tone and skin type for a truly customized beauty box. The cost is $33.95 a month with free worldwide shipping with a yearly commitment or a bit higher such as $35.31 per month for three months, $34.65 per month for six months or $35.95 for just a one-time box.

By the company sending makeup and skin care products customized for your needs, you end up with more beauty that you more likely use instead of needing to pass on to a friend, relative, etc. because the color was wrong or formulation was not suitable for your skin type.

You also don’t have to worry understanding how to read Korean packaging. The good news is you get a booklet in English and French about each product and how to use it. In fact, some of the products in this JoahBox review for June 2019 have both Korean and English labeling details.

What this Korean beauty subscription offers sounds like something wonderful, don’t you think? Just let me show you what I got for this JoahBox review for June 2019.

JoahBox June 2019

1. The Plant Base Time Stop Collagen Ampoule………………………………………………..$29.00
2. RiRe Air-Fit Velvet Lipstick…………………………………………………………………………$17.50
3. I’m Sorry For My Skin Galactomyces Drylock Mask………………………………………$10.00
4. Missha Length Or Volume Boost Cara…………………………………………………………..$9.00
5. Farm Stay Aloe Vera Moisture Soothing Gel…………………………………………………..$3.00

Total Approximate Value: $68.50!

The Time Stop Collagen Ampoule from The Plant Base has powerhouse antioxidants for anti-aging, moisturizing and brightening thanks to its 76.53% contribution of mushroom extracts in the formula. It also has pantheon, sodium hyaluronate and macadamia seed oil along with aloe among other its other wonderful ingredients. My skin drank it up, feeling softer and more supple. It does feel a bit sticky at first, but it disappears after a few seconds once the skin fully absorbs it.

The RiRe Air-Fit Velvet Lipstick is a matte red-pink that feels lightweight and creamy. It does have a velvet quality and keeps the lips nicely moisturized. You do need to reapply after a few hours once you eat like many other lipsticks to keep that wonderful lip hydration going.

JoahBox RiRe Lipstick
This is the RiRe Air-Fit Velvet Lipstick. It is a red-pink that photographed lighter than it is.

The I’m Sorry For My skin Galactomyces Drylock Mask is lavender scented of a black mask with pre-fitted holes for nose and mouth that adheres to the face. Galactomyces are a type of fungus from yeast to help nourish the skin. This mask has 69% of that fungus besides aloe, niacinamide (vitamin B3) as well as botanicals and extracts. You need to wear a towel around your neck when applying this mask because it does drip. However, after massaging the liquid into my skin, it appeared more radiant and dewy as a result.

The Missha Length Or Volume Boost Cara is mascara. You could have received either the lengthening or the volumizing formula. Mine happened to be the volumizing. I loved the size of the brush for building up lashes. I am confident that you will too.

The Farm Stay Aloe Vera Moisture Soothing Gel was wonderful to find in this JoahBox. It can be a real skin saver for any burns from scalding like what happened to me with hot a while back and treated with aloe gel to relieving the pain of sunburn.

Anyone that loves the surprise element of diving into a new beauty subscription box every month and loves K-beauty should give JoahBox a try. For those that never sampled Korean skin care or makeup yet, JoahBox is something you definitely should experience.

      Hi,

Judging from this first box, you will probably find out the directions in English on the product or the informational brochure. The items in this box had both Korean and English. I am assuming this is probably standard.

This looks like a really good one. There are so many subscription boxed out there, it’s hard to choose.

If I were to choose a subscription, this would be in the running. I love Kbeauty.
