Those beauty seekers that are always on the hunt for exciting products to try would be thrilled to know about Chic Beauty Box, a new beauty subscription box that reached out to me. Unlike a monthly box, this Canadian company has a mixture of full size high and low-end makeup, skin care, perfumes, etc. to be released every other month with a value more than $100 per assortment.
**Disclaimer: This post has been compensated. Opinions are solely mine. **
The cost to order Chic Beauty Box that contains typically four to five products is $34.99 plus $7.95 shipping with automatic renewal. You can also try out this subscription box first with a one-time box for $39.99 plus $7.95 shipping, if that is how you prefer to get acquainted with their box. Inside, you also get a card outlining the products and values. Furthermore, if a product is damaged or expired, the company will replace it, which is commendable.
If all this doesn’t sound promising, then wait until I tell you what you might expect like the Chic Beauty Box November/December 2019 sent for this review. This assortment had an extra bonus $12.99 product with the Milani Eyebrow Tinted Fiber Gel that wasn’t listed on their informational card.
The first product I want to tell you about is the Becca Backlight Targeted Colour Corrector ($39.00). The one I received was in the red shade of Papaya for counteracting deep blues and greens. I use a peach toned concealer and have used a dab of red lip color when my under eye darkness was exceptionally bad so I wasn’t frightened by the depth of that poppy red color. This is a thick cream with luminosity to it and only requires a tiny amount to neutralize darkness. I really liked how it worked. However, this corrector shade is no longer available except on Amazon.
Huda Beauty Gemstone Palette ($27.00) is a simply gorgeous nine-color palette of highly-pigmented metallic powder shadows that blend like a dream. You can’t help but love how the light and color pull together for such an amazing effect.
The NYX Ombre Lip Duo in Freckles & Speckles ($5.75) is a lip liner with satiny matte lipstick at the other end to create a two-toned ombre lip. The Freckles & Speckles is a brick red with a paler pink brown-red for inside of the lips. This lippie feels comfortable and wears well.
The Maybelline Color Elixir Lip Gloss ($8.99) is in the shade 115 Sandy Sensation, which is discontinued. This is a peach lip gloss-treatement with a doe-foot applicator for keeping lips quenched or using over a deeper lipstick to tone it down.
Hard Candy Waterproof Gel Eyeliner ($5.00) came in Black Magic. This is a handy pencil to have for eye beauty. You can create a fine line or build it up with a convenient smudge tip at the other end for blending.
The last product was the Milani Easybrow Tinted Fiber Gel ($12.99) in 02 Natural Taupe. This is a light soft brown shade with a spoolie brush applicator that is easy to control for building up brows. I never tried this product and really liked how well it worked.
From what I observed so far, Chic Beauty Box has a lot to offer beauty lovers with their selection and box value. The products they chose are ones that won’t sit in your makeup bag, but ones that you’ll love discovering such as that stunning Huda Gemstone Obssessions palette.
If you’re searching for a great beauty subscription box and haven’t tried Chic Beauty Box, I suggest visiting their website and give them a try.
Thanks for your review. This box seems like it is going to be great. I would like to see more first. Thinking of subscribing
