This may be hard to believe, but I love the taste of hot and spicy so much that I also grow jalapeno and habenero peppers in my garden in addition to receiving a new hot sauce box from my favorite hot sauce subscription, Fuego Box to review. As always, their box arrives early in the month to best keep a hot sauce fanatic like yours truly giddy with three new flavor varieties to enjoy.

If you’re thinking what is the big deal about hot sauce, then I’ll tell you my personal reasons that a Fuego hot sauce subscription is fantastic. Besides adding it to the foods on your plate, I cook with it in my recipes to alter the taste from anything to veggie burgers, marinades, salad dressings, sauces to casseroles, etc. It also is good in home remedies such as a tomato juice drink with apple cider vinegar that I make when you get a scratchy throat. Hot sauce can help speed up a sluggish metabolism. Finally, I like the artisan hot sauce brands that Fuego Box scours the country for to incorporate into each new assortment, which can’t be found locally.
The price of a Fuego hot sauce subscription is reasonable as well. The cost is just $29.95 per box with no extra charge for shipping within the United States. Included is also a card that describes each and how best to enjoy the hot sauce.
This sounds great, right? Even if you’re not a full-fledged hot sauce convert yet, just wait until you hear what my Fuego hot sauce subscription box for September 2020 contained.
The first hot sauce in this latest trio was from Hotter Than El with their Gator Jake’s Rajun Cajun. This was a medium heat with cayenne peppers and savory spices that give it a nice nip without the heat overriding it. This one was first deliciously sampled on my scrambled eggs.
Second this month was the Mango Habanero Hot Sauce from Sugar Skull Hot Sauce Company. This is a pale golden-orange with a delightful mango and lime accompaniment to its spices, habaneros, onions, garlic, etc. This is a medium heat that can definitely rock your taste buds in an exciting way.
The third hot sauce for Fuego Box September 2020 was Sega Sauce from Fuego Spice Company. This is a very hot heat with reaper peppers, pineapple, honey, onions, and spices delivering a wicked burn, but a wonderful flavor combination once you can feel your tongue again. Have a glass of milk handy.
My advice is to visit the company’s website and give the Fuego Box subscription and their hot sauces like the ones shared here for this review a try. You really will love them!
