Floral Street has such a knack of bringing floral beauty to life judging from their amazing vegan perfumes that I tried. Unlike what you may expect with a name liked Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid perfume, this one is warm and cozy. With its spices to floral notes, I consider this one more on the order of a slightly sweet gourmand than your basic floral fragrance. The result of this perfume created in 2017 by perfumer, Jerome Epinette, is a fabulous crisper gourmand floral scent that any perfumista would love to find among their holiday gifts.

Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid perfume opens with notes of vanilla, cassis and citrus. Somehow, these beginning notes with sweet vanilla and that tangy tartness of blackcurrant from the cassis prevent that syrup like sweetness that some gourmand fragrances may display. In its place, more of an aromatic tartness to this fragrance arises to liven up that sweetness further with added brightness from citrus.
As the Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid perfume further warms in the heart, you can detect the influx of more floral notes from flowers and jasmine. However, that floral sweetness when met with the green bamboo notes serves to stabilize this perfume from being too sweet again like a regular gourmand fragrance. What happens is this beautiful perfume undergoes a change and becomes crisper, yet still sweet and so inviting in its appeal.
