During home confinement due to this pandemic, I gained a few extra pounds that I need to lose. Besides dieting and drinking two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in water twice a day, I have been using even more hot sauce since it is a metabolism booster on my foods and in cooking. Therefore, let me tell you what new variations I received in the Fuego Box March 2021 assortment.

When I noticed another new take of chipotle hot sauce in my trio, I was one happy camper. Ever since I tasted my first chipotle sauce, I have become a genuine fan of its smoky and earthy contribution such as what I experienced with Dirty Dick’s No Name Chipotle. Given that, I was in my element savoring that old Mexican taste with medium heat that also had pineapple, tomatoes, habanero peppers, garlic, cocoa, coffee, and other fabulous spices. This one made a perfect hot sauce metabolism booster for my scrambled eggs, chicken and adding to my sauces and marinades.

Next, I welcomed Serrano Basil Hot Sauce from the Bravado Company. This one is my metabolism booster for adding more fresh basil seasoned excitement to my red sauces for spaghetti to pizza. I would describe this hot sauce having a medium heat with its white wine vinegar, serrano peppers, tomato paste, garlic, and spices.

The last bottle had a winking devil armed with pitchforks on the label from Hellfire with their Devil’s Blend Scotch Bonnet, which clued me in before I even tasted it. The illustration on that label hit it right once I sampled it because this definitely had a sweet fire blazing through my mouth that was very hot. Once I had feeling back in my tongue, I found it had a Carribean influence that had pineapple, pears, papayas, spices among its ingredients along with fatalli peppers as well for stoking even more fire. This sauce also had a hint of cinnamon, which I could have lived without. I will be experimenting with this more in some of my bean and vegan recipes.
