Have You Tried Petit Pot Pudding?

Petit Pot Pudding

Recently a luscious French dessert arrived at my door in the form of Petit Pot puddings. I had never sampled these creamy dessert pots, but adore puddings in general in all flavors. Therefore, you can imagine how much I looked forward to pampering my taste buds with Petit Pot pudding in a milk chocolate hazelnut flavor based on an authentic French recipe.

As someone that can’t get enough chocolate, I was in my element when I opened one of these cute glass Petit Pot pudding jars. The chocolate in this pudding was velvety smooth with a subdued hazelnut flavor that reminded me of liquified milk chocolate chips swimming in cream. The texture was not overly thick, but a thinner, silky consistency. Regardless, it was a rich and delicious dessert.

I also liked the small size of the company’s choice of using 3.5 oz. jars. This size was perfect for packing in a lunch for the office or just when you’re in the mood to indulge in a decadent dessert of 230 calories.

If you never tried Petit pot pudding and wanted to treat yourself or the family, I highly recommend trying the milk chocolate hazelnut variety while it is available. Trust me, but it is sinfully good.

They do make other flavors with more of a pot de creme custard-like consistency in a dark chocolate, vanilla bean, salted caramel, California lemon as well as plant-based varieties of those puddings. To tell the truth, I am now dying to try the other flavors with the pot de creme texture and compare. However, my problem now is deciding on which flavor to start with first!

My advice is visiting the company’s website to order your own Petit Pot pudding or to find store locations locally. I just know that you are going to love their desserts as much as I do.
