How to Make a Healthy White Bean Spread (With Extra Cheese Protein)

White Bean Spread

As a healthy replacement for meatless protein, I cook a lot with many different varieties of legumes. This white bean spread has extra protein from cottage cheese, Swiss cheese, and Velveeta or American cheese with turmeric and a bit of tang from lemon juice and sour cream for a delicious twist.

Why Cook With Beans?

To begin with, beans are yummy besides healthy and can help weight loss due to all the fibers, which satisfies the appetite without weighing the stomach down. They also help control high blood sugar to ward off diabetes and cancer. Something else beans are good for is preventing non-alcoholic fatty liver.

Beans are also inexpensive to make recipes around compared to meats and another reason why you’re going to love this easy and healthy spread.

Still, there is more to appreciate about this bean spread for all the different ways to serve it. You can use it as a dip for chip, crackers or a flatbread, a sandwich spread in place of mayo or mustard to using a sauce for pasta.

Something else wonderful about this recipe with beans is how simple it is to make. You just cook and drain your beans or open up cans before mixing all the ingredients in your food processor or blender. What could save you more time and energy than a recipe like this one?

I hope that you’ll want to print out my recipe for white bean spread. You also may also want to check out another bean spread/sandwich filling that I make, which has cream cheese, garlic and roasted red peppers, which is also sensational.
