Why Make This Particular Comfort Food Recipe for Cottage Pie

First of all, it is healthier than some other versions with fewer fats from excess butter and overloading the cheese. It also is tasty without salt for those watching their sodium levels. However, you have the option of adding salt. Furthermore, I use grass-fed beef without all the antibiotics, hormones and gross additives that regular beef is permitted by law to pass off to consumers for maximizing the best nutrition for my family.

Secondly, this recipe is an easy way to get your family, especially the kids to eat their vegetables. Being chalked with of lots of onion, mashed potatoes, corn, and peas are an ideal way to sneak them on their plates for a healthy diet.

Thirdly, this is a thrifty recipe that can prevent food waste since you can add any leftover vegetables you also may have such as mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans, etc. In addition, I use grass-fed ground beef that doesn’t produce a pan full of grease like typical ground beef, which helps the food budget.

Fourthly, it is a timesaving cozy meal that can be assembled ahead and stored in your refrigerator until ready to pop it into the oven.

Finally, this recipe is simple, wholesome and delicious that can warm the heart and stomach with its sensational flavor and goodness.
