Course: Dessert
Keyword: Crock-Pot Apples and Rice Dessert
Servings: 10
  • 7 peeled chopped gala apples or your favorite variety
  • 1-3/4 cups Stevia KetoseSweet + Powder
  • 3 tablespoons of butter + 1 tablespoon to grease the crock-pot
  • 3 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups raw rice cooked
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  1. Boil the rice in four cups of water until cooked.
  2. Thoroughly grease the crock-pot with your one tablespoon of butter to prevent sticking.
  3. To begin, put a layer of rice in your crock-pot followed by a layer of chopped, peeled apples, some of the Stevia KetoseSweet+ Powder, some of the cinnamon, butter and vanilla, before adding another rice layer. Keep repeating this process until all the ingredients are incorporated finishing with a rice top layer.
  4. I cook this in the crock-pot on low for about five hours. Give it a stir in about three hours and taste it to see how tender the apples are becoming. You might want to add about a half-cup of water if it looks dry because some apples tend to be drier than others.
  5. Crock-Pot Apples and Rice Dessert also heats up well in the microwave, if you have any.
  6. ENJOY!
