Sift the dry ingredients together in your mixing bowl.
Add the raisins next and stir in with the dry ingredients.
Stir the eggs, milk and oil together before combing with the dry ingredients. Only stir the dry ingredients enough to moisten or you could ruin the bread. Do not overwork with ingredients with vigorous stirring.
Pour batter into three small loaf pans, approximately 7" x 3" x 2" or two regular size loaf pans that are thoroughly greased.
Bake in a 350-degree oven for about 30-35 minutes, depending on how your oven is regulated.
Test for doneness with a toothpick, cake tester or a slender knife to see if anything sticks.
Remove from the pans immediately after baking.
